Commissioner General of Romania Pavilion, Ferdinand Nagy, together with the Rector of Transilvania University of Brașov, Prof. Dr. Ioan Abrudan, had, on August 7, a working meeting with the Rector of Hyogo University, Prof. Dr. Shigeru Morichi. The delegation also included Carmen Tămaș, Professor of Japanese Culture at Hyogo University, who actively supported the dialogue between the two academic institutions.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of Expo 2025 Osaka, aimed primarily to strengthen Romanian–Japanese university cooperation and to finalize the arrangements for signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Transilvania University of Brașov and Hyogo University. The document is scheduled to be formalized in October 2025 at the Romania Pavilion, marking a new stage in the strategic academic partnership between the two countries.
